Tibet is an extremely rich and beautiful land with an altitude on average of over 4,000m (13,120ft) above sea level. The country contains more than fifty peaks above 7,000m and it is home to eleven Himalayan mountains of over 8,000m China , India , Nepal , Sikkim , Bhutan , Burma , Kashmir all have borders with Tibet .Tibet trekking offers a wonderful chance to discover and share in the life and culture of these incredbibly friendly people.Along the way travel to ancient monasteries where chanting monks bring in and sing out the day perhaps move to the tranquil shores of Lake Mansarovar for some peaceful meditation.There is a wide range of Himalayan scenery to explore and take in with its lush valleys and beautiful landscapes.Generally speaking the best time to visit is April through to mid October. This is also the time when the scheduled flights between Kathmandu and Lhasa operate, normally every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
